For the 2016 year, Taradale Music Inc. was delighted to collaborate with the Melbourne Recital Centre and RACV to bring not one but three wonderful concerts to the goldfields region of Central Victoria. And for the first time, we also brought one of the events in our program to the city.

On the afternoon of Sunday 7 August, we showcased the innovative Melbourne Guitar Quartet at the beautiful Convent Chapel in Daylesford. A treat for guitar lovers and lovers of string quartet music alike.

And then in the evening of Saturday 27 August, we had the fabulous Stiletto Sisters at the Castlemaine Town Hall. A riot of musical colour and movement, and a particularly family-friendly event, for kids, oldies and all.

On Friday 23 Sept, we proudly presented the wonderful young Arcadia Quintet, five young musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music, at the beautiful old Athenaeum Library on Collins St.

And for a joyous finale for the year, a couple of our very special friends opened up their beautiful home and garden in Macedon on Sunday 23 October. It was ‘sprummer’ but notwithstanding, the garden was in full bloom, our performers were sensational and a good time was had by all.
